Description
German political propaganda badge dating to circa 1933. The round badge features a left-facing profile of Adolf Hitler at its center. The border reads “EIN VOLK · EIN REICH · EIN FÜHRER,” or “One People, One Reich, One Leader.” Small swastika symbols separate portions of the inscription. The reverse retains its vertical pin and catch assembly. The badge shows age-related patina, oxidation, finish loss, and surface wear. Please carefully review all photographs for the condition, markings, construction, and completeness of the badge.
This badge dates to the early Third Reich period and reflects the political propaganda used after Hitler became German Chancellor in 1933. Museum records identify this pattern as a circa 1933 political badge and suggest a possible election campaign connection. Other documented examples link the design with the November 1933 Reichstag election and referendum period. This example represents a political propaganda artifact rather than a military award or combat decoration. Its period imagery, slogan, and surviving pin assembly give it historical interest as an artifact of Germany’s political history before World War II.
