Description
Authentic WWII German Army (Heer) enlisted man’s belt buckle, constructed of stamped steel and maker-marked B&N 1942 for Berg & Nolte, Lüdenscheid, one of the recognized buckle manufacturers of the period.
The buckle displays the regulation Heer design: the Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika, within an oak leaf wreath and the motto “Gott Mit Uns” (God With Us).
This example is a true battlefield relic, showing heavy rust and surface corrosion across the body. The original field-gray paint is mostly gone, and the details of the eagle, wreath, and motto are partially obscured. Despite this, the buckle remains structurally intact, and the maker/date marking B&N 1942 is still visible on the reverse.
