Description
German political event badge produced for the Reichstreffen der Kinderreichen in Frankfurt am Main. The gathering took place from June 5–7, 1937. The front features a large German eagle above a stylized group of smaller eagles. Oak leaves form decorative borders along both sides. The inscription reads “REICHSTREFFEN DER KINDERREICHEN FRANKFURT A/M 5.–7. JUNI 1937.” Swastikas flank the event dates near the bottom. The gray metal finish shows age-related patina, spotting, and surface wear. Please carefully review all photographs for the condition, markings, construction, and completeness of the badge.
The 1937 Reichstreffen der Kinderreichen Badge commemorates a national gathering of the Reichsbund der Kinderreichen. The organization promoted large families within the population policies of Third Reich Germany. Thousands attended the 1937 gathering in Frankfurt, which included political speeches and public events. This badge served as an event and commemorative piece rather than a military decoration. Its distinctive eagle design, exact dates, and Frankfurt inscription connect it directly with this documented 1937 gathering.
