Please carefully review all photographs for the condition, markings, construction, and completeness of the badge.
The NSDAP held its 1938 Kreistag in Aschaffenburg as part of the party’s regional political activities. Period records also document an Aschaffenburg cultural exhibition connected with the 1938 Kreistag. The exhibition ran from June 18 through July 18 at the city’s Spessartmuseum. The 1938 Aschaffenburg Kreistag Badge served as an event or rally badge rather than a military decoration. Its dated inscription ties the piece to a specific political gathering in pre-World War II Germany. Collectors commonly classify pieces of this type as political event badges or tinnies. An auction archive also documents this exact Aschaffenburg Kreistag designation among period event badges.
