Description
This is an authentic child-sized version of the German SA (Sturmabteilung) belt buckle, designed for miniature or youth belts rather than standard enlisted issue. Constructed of stamped metal, it replicates the classic SA buckle design, featuring the central swastika within a wreath emblem used by the paramilitary “Brownshirts” of the Nazi Party.
This scarce variant measures 5.5 cm wide by 4 cm tall, making it notably smaller than standard EM/NCO buckles. These reduced-size buckles were intended for children’s belts or youth-style uniforms, and are much rarer to find. The example shows age, patina, and light wear, but retains its original detail and form.
