Description
This is an authentic German NSDAP SA (Sturmabteilung) enlisted man’s/NCO belt buckle, commonly referred to as a Koppelschloß. Constructed of stamped metal, it features the central swastika roundel surrounded by a laurel wreath, the emblem associated with the SA “Brownshirts,” the paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party.
The buckle shows natural service wear and patina consistent with age, but retains strong detail. These buckles were standard issue for SA enlisted men and NCOs during the 1930s and early years of the Third Reich, making them an iconic piece of political militaria.
