Siamese Mauser Type 66 Dust Cover — Good Condition, Broken Spring Tab
Offered is an original dust cover for the Siamese (Thai) Mauser Type 66 rifle. This correct-pattern cover shows honest service wear and surface patina consistent with age but is otherwise in good, solid condition for use or display.
The metal body is straight with no major dents and retains much of its original finish where not worn. The return spring is present and functional, however the small tab at the end of the spring is broken off, which may affect how the cover secures on some receivers or require a minor repair or replacement spring for perfect fitment. Aside from that issue the latch surfaces and bearing points are intact.
A useful spare part for restorers completing a Type 66 rifle or for collectors assembling correct Siamese Mauser components. Photos show the exact dust cover offered.
