This is an authentic East German National People’s Army (NVA) leather belt complete with buckle, dating to the Cold War period. The belt is constructed of black leather and fitted with the distinctive aluminum NVA buckle, featuring the DDR state emblem of hammer, compass, and wreath of rye.
