Description
This is an authentic German WWII Army (Heer) enlisted man’s/NCO belt and buckle set. The buckle is the steel construction type, showing field wear and age but retaining good character. The leather buckle tab is clearly stamped “G. Brehmer 1941”, a known wartime manufacturer.
The blackened leather belt itself is stamped “L. Kopping & Co / Giessen / 1942”, identifying it as a product of the well-documented maker L. Kopping & Co. of Giessen. The leather remains solid, with original stitching and hardware intact.
This pairing of an original WWII steel buckle with tab and a matching dated belt makes it a collectible set, especially desirable with both clear wartime markings from two recognized manufacturers.
