Description
Authentic Soviet Union belt buckle and belt, constructed of solid brass, featuring the iconic five-pointed star enclosing the hammer and sickle.
This style was introduced during the WWII period and remained in service through the postwar Soviet Army, making it one of the most recognizable pieces of Soviet militaria. The brass buckle was paired with either a leather or canvas belt, issued to both enlisted men and officers of the Red Army (RKKA) and later Soviet Armed Forces.
The polished brass construction gives this example a distinctive weight and finish, standing apart from later steel or alloy versions.
