Description
Original Bundeswehr leather belt complete with its standard issue buckle, as issued to the West German Army during the Cold War.
The belt is made of thick, high-quality black leather, adjustable with a metal clip and holes for size variation. The buckle is stamped aluminum, finished in grey/green paint, and displays the Bundeswehr eagle insignia at center. This was the standard pattern used by West German forces throughout the 1950s–1980s, replacing wartime Wehrmacht designs with the new eagle symbol of the Federal Republic of Germany.
These belts were worn by enlisted soldiers as part of their service and field uniforms and remain a staple of Cold War-era Bundeswehr surplus.
