Description
This is an original WWII German Police-issue leather holster for the Mauser HSc pistol, featuring the correct Eagle/B acceptance stamp on the front panel beneath the flap—a known placement for holsters issued under Reichspolizei contracts during the mid-war period.
Made from sturdy brown leather, this holster follows the classic pattern adopted for police sidearms: a full flap with steel stud closure, rear belt loops, and an internal magazine pouch. The leather remains strong and supple, showing only minor age wear. Stitching is tight throughout. The Eagle/B proof, used exclusively by police procurement authorities (Polizeiverwaltung), is still clear and fully legible when the flap is opened.
This holster was issued alongside Mauser HSc pistols produced for the German police between 1941 and 1944, many of which were used by Ordnungspolizei and Gestapo units. The front-facing placement of the Eagle/B mark is consistent with original wartime production and is an important authenticity indicator for collectors.
