Description
Authentic WWII Soviet Union (USSR) Red Army (RKKA) officer’s belt, Model 1935 (M-35) pattern. This is a scarce and highly desirable pre-war issue belt, introduced in 1935 and carried through the early stages of the Great Patriotic War.
The belt is made of thick leather with brass fittings, including the distinctive large five-pointed star buckle with hammer and sickle. This was the regulation officer’s dress and service belt of the RKKA (Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army) during the late 1930s and early 1940s.
Due to the devastation of the early war years and later transitions to simplified wartime patterns, the M1935 officer’s belt is extremely rare today, especially in original, unaltered condition.
