late wear MKII “cut back” fuze assembly with improved short safety release spoon lever. Safety lever is marked with Bassick co, Newark NJ identified by a “B” inside a diamond stamp. 40 segment fragmentation iron body with narrow filler base and angular top shoulder profile. cast iron body is stamped with a ID and upside down T. Original lead filler plug and paint.
