VZ52 Armorer’s Spare Parts Kit – Complete Set
This VZ52 armorer’s kit is an original Czech military spare parts set made for the CZ vz. 52 pistol chambered in 7.62×25 Tokarev. It gave armorers and military units a compact way to service pistols in the field without sending them back to a depot. Moreover, this example remains complete, which makes it far more desirable than the incomplete kits often seen today.
VZ52 armorer’s kit
The VZ52 armorer’s kit shows how Czechoslovakia supported its service pistols during the Cold War era. Rather than issue loose replacement parts, the military packed the needed components into a fitted wooden case with numbered compartments. As a result, an armorer could identify parts quickly, keep them organized, and replace worn components with minimal delay.
This complete set includes both major replacement parts and smaller service items. Because of that, it offers strong value not only as a maintenance kit, but also as a display piece that adds context to any CZ vz. 52 grouping.
VZ52 spare parts kit box and markings
The kit is housed in its original Baltic birch storage box with a green painted exterior. The box uses a dovetailed sliding lid and a spring latch retention system, which gives it a durable and practical military design. Inside, the box contains individually numbered compartments sized for specific parts.
The exterior bears the Czech marking:
NAHRADNI DILY
PRO 7.62MM PISTOL VZ52
That marking identifies the box as spare parts for the 7.62mm VZ52 pistol. In addition, the inside of the lid features a printed component inventory panel that corresponds to the numbered wells in the box.
Complete VZ52 armorer’s kit contents
This set remains complete with examples of all spare parts. Contents include two spare magazines, a pair of replacement grip panels, mainsprings, a spare barrel, and a range of pins, springs, and other internal service parts. Therefore, the kit represents a true working armorer’s maintenance set rather than a partial assortment of loose pieces. While there is a possibility exact quantities differ from what is listed on the sheet, spares were
The layout of the box also adds to its appeal. Each compartment holds a designated item, which makes the set visually strong and easy to understand in a collection or display.
Condition and collector appeal
Condition is excellent overall. The wooden box shows only light handling marks, and those marks fit careful storage rather than heavy field use. The green exterior finish remains strong, while the sliding lid still operates smoothly. Internally, the numbered compartments remain clean and well defined.
The spare parts themselves show very little wear. As a result, the kit appears to have seen little actual armorer use. Complete examples like this have become harder to find, especially with all parts present and the original box intact.
Cold War Czech militaria display piece
This kit holds strong appeal for collectors of Czech militaria, Cold War equipment, and military support gear. It shows the logistical side of service weapons rather than the weapon alone. Because of that, it adds depth to a collection and displays well beside other Czech military items.
