Description
Original Spanish M2 steel helmet from the Spanish Civil War era (1936–1939), complete with its front badge.
The M2 was Spain’s domestically produced adaptation of the French Adrian-style and German M1916 helmets, featuring a distinctive flared skirt and side rivets. Issued to both Republican and Nationalist (Francoist) forces, the M2 became one of the most recognizable helmets of the conflict.
This example retains its steel shell with original field paint and an affixed front badge/emblem, which identified branch or political alignment. Badges on Spanish Civil War helmets varied widely, with Nationalist, Falangist, and other organizational insignia often attached.
