Description
This is an original WWII German Army (Heer) Ordnance Technician sleeve badge, issued to personnel specializing in ordnance and munitions repair within the Wehrmacht.
The insignia is machine-embroidered on dark backing cloth and depicts a stylized flaming grenade emblem, the symbol for ordnance technicians. These sleeve badges were worn on the lower left sleeve of the field or service tunic by qualified ordnance personnel responsible for the maintenance and repair of weapons and equipment.
This example shows age toning and light wear, but the embroidery remains crisp and well-preserved, making it an excellent addition to any WWII German insignia collection.
