Description
This is an authentic Imperial German WWI Prussian enlisted man’s belt buckle, Model 1915. The buckle is constructed of nickel with a brass overlay roundel. The central motif features the Prussian crown surrounded by a laurel wreath and the motto “Gott Mit Uns” (God With Us), the iconic design of the German Imperial Army.
The M1915 variant was introduced as a wartime economy model, replacing the earlier all-brass versions with nickel and steel examples to conserve strategic materials.
