Description
Authentic WWII German Army (Heer) enlisted man’s and NCO’s black leather belt, complete with its regulation pebbled aluminum buckle, manufactured by Richard Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid.
The buckle is the standard Wehrmacht pattern, featuring the German eagle clutching a swastika on a pebbled background, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath and the “Gott Mit Uns” motto. This buckle bears the maker’s code for Richard Sieper & Söhne, a major German wartime buckle producer and one of the most desirable manufacturers among collectors.
The belt is constructed of black leather, regulation width, with fastening clip and adjustment holes. The use of aluminum construction places this buckle in the early- to mid-war period, prior to the later-war switch to steel buckles.
