Offered here is a lot of 20 original M-35 .410-bore shotgun shells, as issued for the U.S. Air Force M6 survival rifle. These shells were part of the standardized aircrew survival kit during the Cold War era, designed to give downed pilots a lightweight but versatile firearm option for foraging and self-defense.
Each shell is military-issue, 2.5-inch length, loaded with #6 shot, and packed in the signature olive-drab green coloration with white stenciled markings. These are inert surplus rounds ideal for collectors, not for live firing. They pair with the M-35 .22 Hornet cartridges in the M6’s over-under design.
This set of 20 rounds is perfect for completing an M6 survival rifle display, military aviation collection, or for use in period-correct photo and film reference. Original M-35 ammo is becoming increasingly hard to find in quantity and condition like this.
