Original 1938 SA-Issued Tan Leather Holster for Walther PPK – Karl Ackva, Bad Kreuznach

$799.99

SKU: WEB103 Categories: ,

Description

This is an original pre-WWII tan leather holster for the Walther PPK, manufactured in 1938 by Karl Ackva of Bad Kreuznach and SA marked, indicating issue to the Sturmabteilung (SA), the paramilitary wing of the early Nazi Party. The leather is light brown with a rich natural patina, showing honest service wear while retaining full structural integrity. The closure strap, stud, and stitching are all intact.

The inside of the flap is clearly dated “1938” and marked with the maker’s name and location. A sharp SA stamp is visible, a rare and highly sought-after feature among collectors of early Nazi-era political and paramilitary equipment. These holsters were issued before the full militarization of the German armed forces and represent the transitional equipment used by both political organizations and later security police units.

This SA-issued holster fits the Walther PPK perfectly, with contours molded for the pistol’s profile and a secure closure strap. A very difficult variant to find, especially with matching early-date markings and in tan leather, which is increasingly uncommon.

A must-have for collectors focused on early Nazi-era artifacts, SA and NSDAP gear, or Walther PPK accessories. Displays beautifully alongside period pistols or in political/militaria collections focused on the prewar years.
