German HK SP5K-PDW 9mm Pistol W/ RMR, Pistol, Brace, Sling, and Case MP5K

Up for auction is a German H&K SP5K-PDW chambered in 9mm Luger. This incredibly sought after and iconic firearm is the official, German made, HK produced civilian export version of the famous MP5K submachine gun. This pistol is the crown jewel of any HK collector’s arsenal. This incredible piece is in like new condition with a ton of accessories. Included with the gun is the following: (1) HK nylon case with adjustable velcro securing straps, (1) HK manual and gun lock, (1) HK bungee sling, (1) sling swivel receiver endplate, and (5) magazines two of which are labeled “Made in Germany”. The gun itself also has a few accessories mounted to it. The pistol features an AR-15 buffer tube adapter, onto which is mounted an SBA3 pistol stabilizing brace, a clamp style mount for an RMR footprint, and a trijicon RMR optic. The pistol features all of it’s German proof marks, and for those of you with sharp eyes, you might have noticed a block over the warning label on the receiver, that is because this pistol at one point was converted into an SBR and registered with the NFA, but then later reconverted into a pistol configuration and PERMANENTLY REMOVED from the NFA registry. After confirming with the ATF that this was indeed removed from the registry, we had the old markings engraved over and removed. Making this PISTOL once again legal to sell without the use of a tax stamp. If you’re a high end collector of German or HK firearms, this is a must have. Snag it up while you still can.
In 1976, a shortened version of the MP5A2 was introduced; the MP5K (K from the German word Kurz = “short”) was designed for close quarters battle use by clandestine operations and special services. The MP5K does not have a shoulder stock (the receiver end was covered with a flat end cap, featuring a buffer on the inside and a sling loop on the outside), and the bolt and receiver were shortened at the rear. There are no MP5KA2 or MP5KA3 models because it does not come with a fixed or retractable stock. The resultant lighter bolt led to a higher rate of fire than the standard MP5 at around 900 rounds per minute. It has a shortened 4.5 in (114 mm) barrel, a shorter trigger group frame, the charging handle and its cover were shortened and a vertical foregrip was used to replace the standard handguard. The barrel ends at the base of the front sight, which prevents the use of any sort of muzzle device.The MP5K is produced (by Heckler & Koch and under license in Iran and Turkey) in four different versions: the MP5K, MP5KA4, MP5KA1, MP5KA5, where the first two variants have adjustable, open-type iron sights (with a notched rotary drum), and the two remaining variants – fixed open sights; however, the front sight post was changed and a notch was cut into the receiver top cover. The MP5K retained the capability to use optical sights through the use of an adapter.
