Up for auction is an unissued crate of Russian M91/30 Mosin Nagant rifles imported by Century Arms International. All of the rifles are WW2 period rifles and are still covered in the original cosmoline preservative grease that they were covered in when imported. The rifles still have their original import tags, and look to have been simply taken out of the crate to be engraved, and placed back in. The rifles are in excellent shape with sharp reflective bores. In this package comes the following: (6) Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifles (1-Izhevsk 1943, 2-Tula 1942, 3-Izhevsk 1942, 4-Izhevsk 1939, 5-Tula 1939, 6-Izhevsk 1943), (6) original bayonets still in their original paper wrappers, (5) original canvas cleaning tool pouches, and (6) plastic accessory bags, each containing one original stripper clip belt pouch, sling, and oiler bottle. And lastly all of this comes with the original russian military shipping crate. These rifles are UNFIRED since they were imported by century arms. These rifles are a time capsule. A truly rare and one of a kind piece for any WW2 collector. Rifles have import marks.
The Mosin–Nagant is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine–fed military rifle. Known officially as the 3-line rifle M1891and informally in Russia and the former Soviet Union as Mosin’s rifle, it is primarily found chambered for its original 7.62×54mmR cartridge. Developed from 1882 to 1891, it was used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and various other states. It is one of the most mass-produced military bolt-action rifles in history, with over 37 million units produced since 1891. In spite of its age, it has been used in various conflicts around the world up to the present day.
